How To Install Brother MFC-J2720 (Mac)

This tutorial guides user to install Brother Printer/Scanner MFC-J2720 to Mac OS X(10.8)

1) Download printer driver software.

for example, http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=hk&lang=en&prod=mfcj2720_eu_as_cn 

2) Run the installer program

e.g Inkjet14_ULW_107.dmg (a DMG file)

Make sure that you have configured the Wireless Settings on the printer.

Follow the wizard. It should be able to detect the printer IP and proceed with installation.

In most of the steps, accept the default settings and click Continue button until you get the last (success) message.

Optionally set your computer name for the scanner to be able to detect it in the future.

Add Printer.
